Winter Wheels for F30 that I want to use on future M3?

okay so I am sick of having to buy new winter wheels/tires and then sell them when I purchase a new car. I am hoping this time I can buy a set for my upcoming F30 and use them for a potential 2015 M3 purchase.

I know that on M's the offset in the rear is usually lower becuase of the wheel arches. so will I have any issues with Wheels that work on the F30?

the things I have thought of:

1) if the offset is lower they wouldn't stick out far enough but that could be fixed with spacers

2) wheel large enough to fit over M3 brakes (which may rule 17" wheels out)

Thanks for any suggestions.
