Winter Set for f30

I am planning to fit 18" BMW Style 162 Rims on my F30 M-Sport

Front

8 x 18 ET:34 with 225/45/18 tires (original wheel spec's 8 x 19 ET:36 with 225/40/19")

Rear

8.5 x 18 ET:37 with 255/40/18 tires (original wheels spec's 8.5 x 19 ET:47 with 255/40/19")

I see no issues with the front tire fitment however just want to see if any one things I will have an issue with the rear as it will move the wheel out by 10mm. Any help is greatly appreciated

I would recommend fitting 8.0 x 18" rims all around and 225/45/r18 tires as well. The reason is that in winter, you want a narrower tire that can cut through the snow and slush to give you traction. If you have a 255 in the rear, it is great for summer (not as much for heavy rain) but won't cut into snow as well for winter. You can also rotate them to get an extra season out of your winter tire set. This is what Tire Rack recommended (BMW recommends 225's but a 17" diameter, but 18" is sportier).

Don't know the answer to your fitment question exactly, but I've got a 335iM (19in 403M wheels) in production and going with same size 18s all around for snow tires.
I've got a thread going already about F30 snow-tires. (sorry, can't link, using my phone)
