HPB 20w angel eyes vs Lux?

I don't think this question has been covered..or if it has been, only a brief description.

i saw the HPB and really liked them. They look great! For the money those things seem unbeatable! But how do they compare to the Lux h8 AEs? if you put the price tag aside, which one would be better??

I know the stock BMW rings aren't really great so there's not much i can do..but if you had to pick between Lux and HPB 20w H8..which one would you pick?

If you take a look at gaifaun's review on the DTEC 20w, he compares them to LUX. The HPB and DTEC look to be the same.

+1

If you look at the pictures they look very close. Save yourself some money and go for the HPB, they are cheaper.

brightness levels is extremely close. you would not be able to tell if you compare these bulbs on separate occasions. Only side by side are you able to make out LUX is marginally brighter. amazing how LUX is still the brightest even 2 years before these DTEC's came out!

Its also amazing how companies can make absurd claims about the DTEC lights and their wattage. We will be posting something soon about this.

I had the same thought in mind, Lux vs HPB. Based on reviews and the lower price, I'm leaning more towards HPB. Looking to upgrade from my C.Vision.

I would be more worried about the competition putting out products comparable to yours at a lesser cost, not the marketing of their wattage. No offense.

It's also amazing how some of us want lux amber bulbs and are willing to eat cardboard just to buy them.

Any update?

Lux seems to be the benchmark in all the reviews. Results are close but not the same or better. If it was me, I'd go with the best solution that's the brightest option as well which seems to be lux right now.

Are you speaking from experience seeing both products in person or is this just your thought process based on reviews from forum members?

You get what you pay for. Lux products are far superior to the other's.

Where are these reviews? or single review? Last thing I read they said you would never know the difference as they are very comparable. I'd have to agree also since I've seen both in person on mine and a friends car. I'd love to see more information that makes them a land slide victor and I'm sure others would too.

Only review I read is from gaifun. After reading what he said I went with the HPB and I'm very happy.

I ordered an amber set of DTEC's and i'm gonna review it out soon as it gets here. Based on the white 6000k LEDs from them, the ambers should be really promising. gimme a call if you wanna see it later
