So I had about a gazillion chips in my windshield and safe lite refused to repair them and said I needed a new one. They asked if I wanted the newer polarized front windshield so I said sure. The polarized windshield has a slight reddish tint to it but I didn't really pay any attention to that. After getting it installed, I went to a tint shop to tint the top half with 5%, like I had on my old windshield. After they finished, it wasn't black, it was purple!

The guy at the tint shop said it was because of the red tint to the glass. I talked to a few others who all said it was crap tint they used. Is this true? I don't wanna pay to have it removed, and reinstalled somewhere else and it comes out purple again!!!
