Splitter vs Lip

I'm looking to either put painted splitters on or maybe a lip. I'm not too sure I like cf on TiAg, but if you want to post pics it may help decide.
I'd like to find some painted and your remarks on install, fitment, and price.

I say Hartge lip or OEM splitters are the only 2 ways to go, if you have a stock bumper. If you are on the MTech bumper, I like the CF splitters with the TiAg contrast. This is just my opinion.

Yeah I still have factory front end. Which ones are the factory splitters? I keep seeing them, but want to make sure i'm looking at the right ones. Link? Pic?

Anyone have luck with the ebay stuff?

Here are the OEM splitters. Make sure they are for Pre-Lci E90 if you get them. You shouldn't have an issue with replica splitters, I haven't really heard any issues from them. Its always a risk though.

Those are basically your 2 options unless you want to change out your bumper entirely. Hartge lip or OEM splitters. Replicas for both run $600 and $260 painted respectively.

The replica Hartge's go for $300 painted on Ebay. Replica splitters vary depending on the source, but will be cheaper on ebay. E92Lighting is a sponsor here and carries painted rep splitters for $240.

I put this up on another post but it may also relate here. I recently purchased Hartge rep lip off eBay. Fitment was 9/10. No trimming was necessary and the paint was pretty close to original. Overall I'm pretty happy. Although I didn't really want to spend $400 for a painted lip Shipped but I really liked the hartge lip. Please excuse the phone pic.

Purchased from!

Good luck!

LCI cars with the stock bumper don't have as many options as the pre-LCI cars. You guys have the OEM splitters, or any generic lip basically.

I have a couple in my garage pics with a few more coming when I get off my lazy butt and touch them up a bit haha. You could also do a search here and on google for Hartge Lip and turn up several pics.

Hartge lip looks better than splitters IMO.

Sorry for bad quality though. Will try to take better pictures when I have some more time.

You can algo go for Alpina and ACS lips. They can work on some cars.
I would still go with OEM Splitters on stock preLCI bumper. I don't like the Hartge rep as it's flares out a bit too much compared to original which is a little more subtle.

I would not do both lip and splitters. It's like superman with his shorts over pants. It may work in a comic book, but it looks funny in real life. IMHO.
