Bimmian LED Sidemarkers E90 Don't Fit
I bought these under the assumption Bimmian had fixed their fitment problems.
They have not as of 7/17/2012 when I received them. About a 1/8 inch gap from the middle of the marker towards the back. They look great from a distance but up close they look cheap. Just wanted everyone to be aware. Fail Bimmian LED's. |

Hard to guess without a photo, but if there is a standoff you can grind down to even up the housing due to the warpage.

Dremmel off the little tab that sticks out so the side-marker fits cleanly into the fender hole.

I even tried to use some electric tape to even up the one side.... didn't work. As you can see the right side is still not flush. Was even worse without the tape. |

Here's a dumb question: it's not inverted (front to rear) is it, or L vs. R swap? I agree that gap is too big, but even too big for some warpage. The part just isn't that big to warp that much due to misprocessing.

No its not.
There is really only 1 way for it to fit due to a 2 metal tabs on both sides of the LED. 1 Metal tab intentionally bends and I made sure it was on the same side/positioning as stock. Plus you can see the old dirt outline of the stock bulb and I made sure it lined up perfectly with it. |

I've walked into Bimmian HQ and bought some stuff with "cash" (no taxes/under the table) but boy are these guys horrible at reading their emails.

I had to slightly file down the sides of the rectangular protrusion that goes into the slot of your fender to get them to fit flush - then 2 months later, they filled up with condensation anyway (not due to my filing) - so in the trash they went.
None of the aftermarket sidemarkers fit as oem and the vendors know it - yet they keep selling them. I guess they figure they still make $$ if they fool everyone just once... Best bet is to install LED bulbs in oem markers and use spray tint if you want the smoked look. |

I can't believe they sell a product this poor. I have a feeling mine will be filling up with water too as I heard a crack when installing the first one.
Absolute garbage I wouldn't have bought but my stocks were getting cloudy. |

+1000. Had terrible experiences with them. Steer clear! But I had credit with them (long story), so I bought the Weisslicht LED sidemarkers and the fitment isn't very good. But you can only see if you stand above them and I was able to get the reveal even all the way around so I'll just live with it. Pretty amazing that they didn't even take the time to make sure they fit. SMH.

Really sorry to hear about the troubles. I had the same issue my WeissLicht's that I purchased from jlevi (or sv-concepts is what they are called now). A fellow member, oshusttoley, posted that he found some $25 ones on ebay that fit perfect so I bought a set from the seller. Fitment is definitely 100%.
