Comparing steering wheel rim thickness

Do you guys know what the thickness is of the steering wheel's rim on:

1. M-sport
2. M3
3. BMW Performance (the round one)

I guess we're talking about thickness at the areas where there are no grips or whatever. Just wonder how they compare. I assume diameter inside is identical and it's only about the amount of padding.

ANy help is appreciated - I got to retrim my steering or just condition the leather which was scratched by watch and given the opportunity, I might upgrade my sport to Msport or M3 or alcantara.
