You lift up a little, then pull out. They are called finisher rods pre-lci E90

they will leave a spine behind though, the look may not bother you. you can also replace them with a black version from 328 or paint them.

use vice grip pliers. you'll pull them out in 5 seconds. i replaced mine with black ones so i didn't care about damaging the originals..dont know if you feel the same on that
