330i- No front side airbags??!

Hi, so i was skimming through e-bay motors just to see the color combos and prices of e90's and i came across a 330i with no side airbags? http://ebay.carad.com/viewItem/viewA...7&template=48- look at the pic with the rear door open. there is no airbag cover.

**** I MEAN NO FRONT SEAT MOUNTED SIDE AIRBAGS.

Front side airbags are in the front seats, rather than in the front doors.

There are no rear side airbags. BMW literature says something like "built-in safety in side impact has improved so much that rear airbags are not needed."

Yeah, rear side airbags were an option for my E46, too.

thanks for responding guys! but i was talking about the front seat- there is no 'black' cover for the airbag. Does this mean their is no front seat airbag? because i was looking at terra photos on here and they all did.

No, all E90, regardless of location has a front side torso airbag. The airbag cover is only for sports seat. So, there must be one hidden inside the seat.

As said only the sport seat has the visible cover, the standard seat has a airbag, but you dont see a cover on the seat
