before and after finishing rods-how to
There really isn't much information about how to remove finishing rods. All anyone says is pull up hard and then pull out. But, my finishing rods were on pretty solidly. I even had a buddy give it a try and still no luck. Then i decided to use a pair of vice grip pliers. The rods came off in a matter of seconds without a problem. Of course the pliers did slightly damage the old rods but they are only 15 bucks and I'm never going to use them again anyway. The new black rods snapped right in without a problem and boom i was done. Ill post a before and after pic in a sec

What did you do to black out the grilles the finisher rods snap into? Why didn't you just plasti dip the finisher rods?
