When does the ActiveHybrid 3 go into production?

Want a car ASAP though. Heard something about September 22nd? Is that the first production day of the car for US-spec (or just Euro-spec or is that not even the production start date)? If so, any word on how popular this model is... have all the slots for the first month of production been filled yet? If I could take a ED in October, I'd be interested. If before then, even more so, but that would mean production would have to start before Sep 22? Thanks in advance!
