Wheel alignment for lowered cars
Hi Guys - Not sure if anyone of you has faced this problem but I am lowered on coilovers (Not slammed) and have a front lip.
Because of the above, I have been turned away by 3 shops (Sears, Pep Boys & Firestone) for wheel alignment because they can't put my car on the lift. I don't want to drive out far (I am in Jersey City, NJ), does any one know a good shop where I can go to get wheel alignment? Thanks |

they probably don't want to be held liable if your lip is damaged, my car is low and shops I have went to use wood blocks to get that little bit of extra clearance, camber toe in L.I. is good, or try auto couture in fair lawn, or akmotorwerk in Hillsborough NJ

r/t tuning if you dont mind a drive
www.rttuning.com they will do any performance based alignment and specialize in "fitted" cars... as long as it can drive in it can be aligned there |

There's a shop on 1&9, in NorthBergen right passed the Dunkin' Donuts.. they'll do it and for cheap.. they do great work.. even if it doesn't look like a high tech shop on the outside

Try Akuma Motorworks in Woodbridge NJ. Very nice guys, and very knowledgable guys. Not sure how far away from you they are though.
