Caring for High Gloss Black Trim
So I've scuffed up the high gloss black center console trim while vacuuming. Any recommendations on how to get the scuffs out and on general care/maintenance for ?
What is this the high gloss black trim made out of anyway? Thanks! |

If the interior trim is like the exterior front high gloss kidney grilles, they are painted black, not just black plastic. This means you could use a product called Scratch X by Meguires to polish the scratches out of it. I have used this stuff on bikes, helmets, guitars, phones, cars etc and its done miracles!

Sorry to resurrect this thread. I just picked up my F30 today. The high gloss black trim already has a bunch of micro scratches that are an eyesore in the sun. I'm guessing that the dealer probably used a dry cloth on it when prepping it for delivery. Is Scratch X the best polish to use or is there something else I should use to remove the scratches? Thanks
