It looks like a stuck pixel rather than a dead pixel. They may run an application to correct it, but I am not sure.
There is always a possibility that these displays have some amount of dead pixels. It is usually 3-4 pixels. I don't think that they will replace neither the display nor the car because of this problem. This is not a quality issue, but rather a defect within tolerances. |

fuck this sucks. I might be able to tolerate this on a computer monitor that's worth $300 but not on a car worth $40K+. I think they should replace your screen. It's a BMW. I want nothing less than perfect.

I'm sure they'll replace it. Probably won't be a big deal, just take it in.
I would think they'd have to put in a part order for the screen, so maybe call your SA and give them a heads up so they can order it first.

yeah, will check with the dealer next time i pass by, not sure they will change though...mmm.. i also found that the screen was somewhat yellish compared to the one of my series one (technically the same), of course there are some dsparatities with these screens.. on th either hand it might very well be a stuck pixel, which can be solved.. will see.
