Take it or wait for another 3 months?
I had already ordered a 328i without tech package and should arrive within a few days. Now, I just realize how much I miss the navigation and the head up display on the dash after reading so many review here. I know this is going to be a bad idea either waiting another 3 months for a new order or just take the one that is coming within a few days and call it the day. The main reason that I am changing my mind is because the one that is coming comes with BT and Mineral white (both costs $1,200). I would be able to get the tech package instead by custom order than picking this one up for delivery.
How do you guys think about that? Take the car and forget it or wait for another 3 months for placing a new order with tech package. |

It depends... I would say wait but then 3 months is a long time. But remember you're not going to sell your car in 6 months or a years time so might as well order and get EXACTLY what you want rather than getting something that is exciting at first but then bores you down the lines....

Since i don't have a car to drive, i might just live with it. yeah, i know i might be regret. Waiting for another 3 months which mean i will have to buy a used car and then sell it after a few months with a loss of sales tax and maybe a few hundred or a thousand dollars when selling it back.

No matter what decision you make, you will usually second guess it. I could have saved a few thousand by not getting nav and been happy it's really hard to say. I'm leasing so it's not that big of a deal but if it's long term I would want all of the creature comforts just to be sure.

If you are only going to keep the car 2 years and you do not have a car now, I would take delivery of the car. I bought my F30 and plan on keeping it for a long time, so I made sure it had everything that I would want. However, I wouldn't really mind as much if it didn't have a few options that I wanted if I knew it would be gone in two years.

Do you know where you are usually going? If so, don't wait for sat nav. Head up display is cool, but not worth the potential inconvenience and cost to tie you over while you wait.
