So lately when I have been filling up, I have noticed the STRONG smell of gas...I thought it was maybe just the station had some fuel on the ground no big deal. I came home last night and looked under the car and there is a small drip coming off the tank enough to leave about a 2 foot diameter circle on my street. This only happens when I let the pump auto-shutoff, what fittings besides the filler neck is near the rear passenger side of the tank that I can check for leaks?

Anyone else have this issue?

I believe the filler neck has been know to break on lowered cars

I hope you've had a shop or stealership take a look at this. It doesn't sound like something you should be waiting to fix.

Cracked neck on a tank vent fitting or bad gasket on the sender or pump units.
