COBB Stage 2+ Emissions with Valet Map + DP Fix

I just bought a BMS dp fix for my car and wanted to know if it will pass emissions with stage0 or the valet map? Has anyone tried this? I currently have kitty-less dps, FMIC, and COBB stage 2+ tune.

It should pass with any stg0 or stg1 map + DP fix. Just check for readiness before you take it in.

Ok, thanks. I know the DP fix is for the "readiness", just didn't know if it had any impact on the maps that did not clear the CEL light. I guess I'll be a guinea pig if no one has tried this. I just feel better if the grease monkey inspecting my car didn't have too much fun with it

You should be perfectly fine; just don't reset your ECU or change maps right before you go in.

NJ's OBD testing too. Glad I don't need to spend another $90 on a DP fix that I'll use for a whole 15 mins just to get a sticker on my windshield.

My FBO Stage 2+ passed IL emissions test back in April with the BMS DP Fix.

Here is how things look on Stage 2+ and BMS DP Fix on:

Now, this is how things will look after switching back to Stage 0 and BMS DP Fix:

The difference?: Notice the Catalyst Readiness is set on the second image, but not on the first.

Word of caution: The process of switching maps with Cobb AP unit also involves a procedure which clears all error codes. This is important because clearing all error codes also REMOVES all readiness codes. Its a built in process which forces the DME to perform all checks and set the necessary statuses.

What this means is: You need to drive 20-30 miles AFTER the engine reaches normal operating temperature in order for the catalytic readiness code to be set.
