Vac testing wastegates with mightyvac?

Have searched for this but came up with minimal results, found threads with members using the mightyvac to test wastegates but no instructions how lol!! I will be honest, I have never done this so I will need some instructions. I am assuming you connect the vacume pump to the selonoids and see how much vacum is Being drawn with the car running? Wouldn't that just tell you how much vacuum is being drawn by the motor? Should I just hand pump to see how much vacuum it takes to activate it? What is the procedure and what in.Hg am I looking for?

My car at he manifold nipple has 19.in Hg

I have this pump:

The spec according to BMW is 200mbar. The wastegates should take a slight effort to spin against the housing with vacuum applied.

Just to note this doesn't seem to be a perfect science as there is some objectivity to it in the form of BMW Literature saying something to the extent of when rotating the flapper under vacuum at 5.91inHg vacuum there should be "a slight resistance" as it rubs on the flapper seat as you rotate with your fingers. It is up to you to decide as to how slight you wish to make the resistance, but I described in that post my method the best I can. I'd say over time you just develop a personal acquired feel, but all in all I do not think it has to be perfect just focus more on making the both front and rear having the same feel.

And yes these Internal waste gates wear out. As they wear, the wastegate actuators become further and further out of spec. All you are doing is making up for the new found slop in the internal bushing to wastegate arm clearances, or buying some time until the wastegate arm just stops rotating all together to the point where you start getting over/under boost threshold conditions.
