Well the P3 boost gauge is the best, it looks very oem and shares a side on the drivers side air vent

P3 is expensive but it has the ability to show multiple parameters (gauges) from one source. There are other gauges like stack, arm, innovate, etc but they are individual gauges for boost, afr, egt, etc etc...and you will need an ashtray gauge holder or the mickey mouse ears or custom mounting solutions

I have Prosport gauges in my Subaru. They are affordable and look pretty decent.

No offense but ProSports are garbage. Defi, Autometer Nexus, Stack, etc are good quality gauges.

My prosports look exactly like the defi black face gauges. They work and are much easier to add additional gauges; unlike defi which you need a controller. Defi and stack are extremely nice; just because I didn't shell out $1K+ for my set of gauges dosent make them garbage.

I had Defi gauges and while they are nice i didnt want the controller bulking up my interior. I sold the Defi set and bought a single STRI X-Line boost gauge. Looks identical to my Defi gauges for 50% of the price.

Does something like the JB4 have a built in boost gauge that takes over your oil gauge?

EDIT: Don't most aftermarket tunes add in a boost gauge? If you have a tune...can you just use the one that comes standard?

P3 is the nicest unit. If you look around, you can buy a used older version. Doesn't do all the OBDII stuff (just boost, peak hold, etc). I picked on off this forum from a user upgrading to the newer one.

There is nowhere in the cabin that really mounts any other gauge nicely. The P3 fits perfectly into the driver side vent, so it's very clean OEM install.

I'm waiting on my ecs tuning gauge wich is basically the exact same thing as turner with different logo in the gauge. But they have been BO forever and I now placed my order 1+ month ago. P3 is nice but definetely too expensive and I already have a scangauge for obd2 parameter !

Yes it also has user selectable shift point lights. I have my boost gauge hijack set up to only take effect at WOT otherwise is the oil remp.

i like the ECS boost gauge because i like how it is analog its easier to read when the number is changing so much the digital readout is harder to follow. and the color of it when it lights up at night matches the OEM speedo gauge color which is really nice

I agree. I only have the 2007 version but i like it for boost. I cannot get all the other parameters that the 2008+ versions get on the p3. So I just ordered this,....can't wait for it to arrive.
