Me too.

Looks like I might be done with the driving schools for this year. I'd really hoped to get one more in before the end of the year.

Great thread, Nikki!

I'm going to the Bimmers Across the Border event too. Awesome event.

Off topic, but did anybody get their copy of Boston Bimmer yet? There's a neat pic of me driving my e90 at event 1 this year. Pretty cool pic.

I don't know what happened to the Sept event. I was thinking about attending as well.

I got my copy. My car makes an appearance, as well. I'm the black wagon against the fence in the pic with the guy on a Segway.

Do you have black rims? If so pretty sure I've seen you a few times.

Yep.

Cool...I always wonder if any of the folks I see around are forum members. There was a young guy in a grey 335 coupe who drive by me yesterday on the highway that I was wondering about.

As do I, but most of the time I know they aren't. I really thought you were one. Your wagon is, sick! I drive a white 328i. I'll honk next time I see you.

Ha! Yeah, I'm fairly certain most of the 45+ women doing makeup in their rearview mirrors aren't members. If it's a youngish person, or someone who actually looks like they can drive, I wave. Almost nobody every waves back, though. It's weird, with the exception of one old lady, every person I ever met driving an SC300 when I had mine would wave/honk.

Thanks for the compliments on my wagon. Next up for mods will be tint...after we get done spending money on wedding/honeymoon. I'll be sure to wave at all the white 328is I see. That white is REALLY growing on me. I think my next car will be white.

Yea, I really like how your rims flow with the car. Sexy wagon for sure.

And yea white is just amazing for BMW's. I am already thinking of what color I would choose for my next vehicle and even though I want to mix it up. White keeps coming up first, right next to grey.

Hey! Make sure you introduce yourself next time. I do the driver's meeting talk, and bark into the microphone at times to try to keep the events running smoothly.

I saw that black wagon there, but didn't think twice about whose it might be. Miguel is usually driving his segway (or else it could have be me borrowing it). It's pretty fun to use that thing.

Next autox is 7/29, which should easily sell out. We've been having great attendance this season! It's great to see a lot of new faces too.

I was standing right next to you during the driver's meeting talk! I think I was the only woman in Group 4, so I'm not that hard to miss. I'll definitely be sure to introduce myself next time.

I was bummed to hear the Sept. NHIS event was cancelled. I've been too busy to make it to the July one, but was really looking forward to September.

I've done SCCA autocross events before, but haven't made it yet to a BMW one. Got to do that...
