my fuel pump didn't die.....but my water pump did

My car was towed in wenesday cause the car would overheat. Just got a call from my service advisor saying he ordered the pump and should be in there by monday. Hope everything turns out okay

Thought I'd let everyone know while I'm bored sitting in line for the I phone

I think that's the first water-pump failure I've ever seen on this forum in the past 2.5 years

sorry to hear about that, that makes 3 members that I know that has the water pump malfunction. BMW replaced my dead water pump with a refurbish water pump. Have not had any more issues with the refurbish water pump (knock on wood). I would be interest to know if you will get a refurbish water pump as your replacement. You are the first 335 that I heard of with a water pump issues. GL and report back to us once you get your car back.

At least it wasn't another faulty hp fuel pump; you should be up and running again soon. btw -- enjoy your iPhone, provided they still have one in stock when you get up to the AT&T counter to order.

at least its ur water pump and not your fuel pump and you wont have to wait like 6 weeks to get your car back
