Yet Another BMS DCI review
So I know there are tons of these on here but I just got done installing my BMS DCI and all I can say is wow.
Am I going to say it gave me more hp? It probably did but I didn't notice. The way the car sounds is the real reason for this thread. It's such a sick sound finally hearing the turbos spool when you give the car gas and hearing a blow off when you full get off the throttle. Ever since I got the car the only thing I wished it had more of was more turbo spooling / blow off sounds and this great mod finally gave it to me. Overall I think this is the best $100 I ever spend on any one of my cars past or present. Hope you enjoyed my little rant. And now that the mod bug bit I'm sure I'll be doing more mods sooner or later.

Sick! Do you REALLY hear the turbos or is it a little louder? Right now if I give it gas with the windows down I hear air sucking and then a faint squeal of the turbos.

I am not the most mechanically inclined person either. Most difficult part for me was securing the back filter in cause its so freaking tight back there. I loosened the cowl instead of taking it off so I can lift it up a bit to make more room. Overall it's pretty straight forward. Just follow the instructions. Took me about 30-45 mins to install and I took my time.

basic tips are, to take engine cowl and microfilter off. (around 8-8mm bolts) very easy then un-screw air inlet tube clamps. remove battery wire holders from the airbox. then give the airbox a nice tug( held on by 3 rubber gromets). PM me if you have any questions. i can walk you through, day you install if you need. i assure you you can get it done in less then 20-30 minutes. installing couldnt be any easier, just put the filter+coupler inside air inlet tube and tighten clamps (x2) and your done. fitment might be weird but it should fit snugg or touching each other. If you want super loud turbo/DV sounds, i recommend keeping your engine cowl/ microfilter off (only day days because engine cowl and microfilter help filtrate water into cars gutters. you dont want rain dipping into your enginebay near the turbos) It give its a MUCH more audible sound. i think its awesome!!!! engine cowl really covers the turbo sound. |

Install is pretty straight forward. Take your time and follow their directions. I left the cowl in place, but did remove the battery cables (using a small flat blade, you can unclip the clips holding the battery cable in place). This gave me more slack to pull towards the driver side of the car, thus giving me more room to install the rear intake.

awesome, thank you! My fear is that other people think it's hard as well, but always say it's easy when they're done, because, well, they're already done, and now they know how to do it. They quickly forget the sh** they went through to get it there, but now feel proud (and smart) that they've accomplished it. cheers though for the encouraging responses.

Here is a pic of the final results.
I know I seen pictures of the filters practially on top of each other but I tucked those filters in nice and snug.
