SOS malfunction and Stereo system died!

bad luck today? after parking in the downtown area for 2hrs. i came back to go home and i realized that 30 secs after i started my car, the SOS signal error came on. then i realized that my radio does work. what could be the problem? i turned off the car, removed the key, reinserted and restarted. still doesn't work. the radio is totally off. can't turn it on even by pressing the volume button. the whole in dash system where u insert the cd is dead. i can remvoe the cd tho. funny thing is, i can still call sos and get help, but my car is dead!

someone have any experience with this? please help

dead battery?!?

if it is, you need to enter the secret code to activate the stereo again...

i got the light and neither the bluetooth or SOS would work

after leaving the car for 30 mins, seems to reset itself when i started the ignition again. problem fixed. WTF lol

i have the same problem with the SOS thingy, but mine doesnt get fixed itself......

you probably have an issue with the TCU..... it is basically the computer that controls the electronics of the car......
