Looking at a Private Label Mfg downpipe for a 535i.
The sales man claims it will fit our n55 engine and it's approx $300 with discounts. Any one know of issues with this brand? Here is the link : https://www.privatelabelmfg.com/product_p/plm-n55-dp.htm |

Sorry that I'm the one that keeps replying to your threads - they just so happen to be all the same questions I had when I first started tuning my 335i.
PLM is complete junk. I have them on my N54 (obviously a different format) but they leak, they rub, the o2 sensor holes work but barely. I would personally stay far away because even if you do get a good DP that bolts right up, the wall thickness of the material they use is so thin that you can look forward to rattles every time you cold start your car. |

Warranty issue will depend what breaks down... If you install an aftermarket downpipe and get emissions issue then dealers will likely charge you for the work.
If you install the downpipe and get suspension issues then you should be covered, how can a downpipe affect your suspension. And as always, it depends what kind of relationship you have with the service writers. Best of luck! |

anyone who claims that the DP will work on the F10 platform is taking you for a ride literally... There is a big difference on how the F10/E70 DP fits versus that in the E9x series...
RSItuning is the only manufacture I know of that has a legitmate F10/E70 DP available... Now if they would only offer a catted variety, I would pick one up myself..

If anyone is looking for a catted custom DP that will not trigger your CEL, PM me. I have one ready to ship for a great price.
