20" e46 M3 fitment on e92
Did some search about this but still left with my question unanswered. I have 335i e92 2008 pre-lci. Have couple offers to buy DPE or Iforged 20" wheels Fronts 20x9 with 245/30/20 tires and Rears 20x10 with 285/25/20 tires. The wheels were made for e46 M3, but offsets are unknown because its DPE and Iforged and its not released I know that tire sizes would be ok with proper offets. Anyone had a similar situation? Seller is not local, so its risky. Any suggestions?

I never had 20" on my 335i, and just trying to get more aggressive look on the car. I am pretty sure if the right tire sizes and wheels are being put on like dpe, hre, iforged, advan, it will not look bad. It just that 20" wheels requires more matching with car done in my opinion. If you put some unknown aftermarket ghetto 20" wheels on the car of course it wont look good and shitty, and it wont matter if its 19" or 20" in that case.

Without the offsets it's difficult but you'll most likely need to roll the rear fenders and you'll probably want to roll the front and add a spacer in the front to match.

Since they're from a M3 the rear will must likely be very aggressive for an e92.

I know couple places to roll and pull fenders, but the main thing is that front fenders on e92 (not sure about e90) are made of plastic, so nothing to roll there

Didn't realize it was an e92. The front should fit anyways it just wont be as flush as the rear. You'd need to roll the rear fenders. You'd get better advice if you knew the exact offsets though.

the e46 M3 normaly needs a 35-38et fronts and 20-24et rears
this will mean that the fronts will more likely work on your car but i dont believe the rears. now my other red flag and i can also give you advice. please never EVER ever ( unless they are free) buy wheels with out being 110% sure of the exact off set your getting. very crucial. |

There's no reason the rears wouldn't work. It will take a little but of effort though. You'll need to roll the rear fenders for sure maybe a little bit of camber.

Rolling and pulling fenders is not a problem, so I am willing to put that much effort to make wheels fit. Now, buying used set of maximum diameter wheels from unknown seller is always risky. Most of the HRE, DPE, IForged and maybe some other better brand used wheel sellers don't have offsets to provide, and even if they provide the measurements, you gotta believe its accurate

From responses i got from you guys and from other threads i read, if i don't get some nice 20" wheels locally i'll just get 19" and not worry about it. Thanks a lot for cooperation.

it's pretty risky.
if u luv the design that much - i don't know what's stop'n u. if u like the wheels because of price then skip.
