Tires

Hey guys just wondering if you guys think it would be ok to have bigger diameter tires (about an inch taller over stock)

stock front diameter is 25.2 and rears are 25.1 inches tall while im trying to run about 25.5 fronts and 26.1 rears inches. the guys from tire rack said that 25.8 would be the largest gap they could recommend within factory specs.

i asked him what would be the downfalls of getting too big and told me that it would mess with my traction control, abs and some airbag safety issues like deploying in an accident going slower than factory speeds because the speedometer would be off.

overall a lot of safety things would be affected here...it would cut them off but maybe not work as efficiently because the rotation of the drive wheels would be off.

the reason why im trying to do this anyway is because i have morr vs8.2 wheels and i hate stretched tires and actually like a bulge so im trying to fit 295/25/19 but no one makes that size and the only size is 295/30/19.

285/30/19 would be within spec but i dont think im going to get that bulge im looking for.

thanks in advance guys.

You will also be throwing off both your speedometer and odometer by several mph and overall mileage shown on car...
