Up UP and Away

The wife and I were out doing a pre-run for our group in SoCal and came around the corner and saw this.























We found this just east of Temecula. I don't think they were having the day they had hoped for. Very low clouds and using bunch of gas to keep them above the trees and below the clouds. Made for a good start to our day.

Wow - nice scene. Too bad about the gray day and flat light. A very tempting scenario for doing a few pshop lighting tweaks to bring up the color saturation and add a little warmth to the shots.

That really makes a difference, all the pics that I post have never been done like that. I take that back. The pics in my sig was tweeked by my photo bug friend that took them. Sorta makes me wonder what some of my other pics would look like.

Anyway, it's nice to see the faces behind the zeddies. As for the"interesting" pics, I have never seen so many hot air balloons going up before. Makes for an interesting shot.

Bob & Robyn have the healthiest marriage (aside from my folks) that I ever seen. to them. How about you meet them, go on some drives with them, and share a meal or two with them. Their generosity over MLK Day weekend during the San Diego run towards me was over the top. There are more members of this board that have gotten up before the sun to wait with them for restaurants to open before drives than you realize. Still more have done pre-runs, runs, and improptu runs than you will ever know. They truly do have hearts of gold.



Thank you for revealing to the board what I had figured all along about you. I am glad to see your true character finally come to the surface.



Little story for the rest of the board:
The day I sealed the deal on my coupe, I called, in this order: my folks, my mechanic, and Bob. Had to call the craziest people I knew.

I want to thank you all for your comments ( -1 ). We are pic taking fools ( to the dismay of some ) . We truly enjoy the Z and the community which our Z has enabled us to join. Yes it's about cars in a big way, however, if you limit yourself just to the car, you miss the biggest part of all, the like minded people that get behind the wheel of their Z's and enjoying sharing themselves with others. If you think you enjoy your car now, try doing it in a group. The bonds of friendship that evolve form group events are awesome.

I have done a bit of research on ( -1 ). The self proclaimed status of ( -1 ) is truly sad . One is a lonely number and you miss out on the community. Community is , for us, 75 per/cent of our enjoyment.
