Hi,

I owner of a 320d touring 2010 and I want to change this summer but I still hesitate between F20 125D M pack or F30 120D sport or modern with both automatic 8 gear.

Which one do you recommend guys??

Hi,

Welcome. I assume you mean F30 320D (not 120d)?

Anyway, these seem like very different choices (one is a bonkers but very cool hot hatch) and the other is a (somewhat more family friendly) sports saloon (sedan). So, I guess it depends on what is important to you and what the car is going to be used for.

If these were my two choices, and if I were still in my mid-20s with no kids, I might have gone for the F20 125D M Pack. As it happens, I am in my mid-30s with a small child, so the F30 suits my needs better. EDIT: I have always preferred slightly larger cars over hot-hatches so would probably pick the F30 everytime (assuming I could afford it)!

Incidentally, as you currently have a touring, would you not consider the F31 (Touring)? The M Sport in particular looks phenominal: http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=680195

Still hard to choice and F31 and F30 M pack will make more difficult my choice LOL

The 125d will be quick, really quick. The 320d will be quick.
Economy? Nowt in it really...
Space? F30
Looks? Up to you but F30 for me
Fun? F20, just!
Interior? Close but F30 for me!

Maybe wait for F30 M Sport, but you won't have it on your driveway till September minimum...
Tough choice, but what a nice choice to be able to make!
Both cars are great, properly great, but for you based on that little information - 125d...
