Help pleaseee Upshift/Downshift Tiptronic question

when do you need to upshift and when do you need to down shift, ive searched different threads and all over the internet, please someone help me with this
this car is an 06 330xi, tiptronic.

I'm not sure if OP knows how cars work or if he's talking about a specific application, like optimal rev range or best mpg or.. eh whatever.

Upshift only at 7000rpm. Downshift whenever revs are not at 7000rpm.

Your problem is your car has a Porsche transmission instead of a BMW one.

If you are asking around what rpm, then i usually shift 2.5 to 3k.

On that same note, I just love that 2nd gear... I like to roll on it when I'm at 3.5k and keep it like that while I'm going 25-30mph... Is that bad?
