2006 330I runs rough in rain

Just curious it is the second time this has happened in 4 years. In a heavy rain the service engine soon light comes on then when I stop the car it doesn't want to hold an idle. Then if I shut it off and wait a minute it will completely disappear like nothing has happened. Its a 06 330i with nothing but an intake.

if it happens in the rain it might be that some water is getting under the hood to the engine and somehow entering into air filter or something. but im not sure. i too have a 330i. good luck
