Oil sensor and temp gauge question?

Here is a new one for everyone. I just got my oil changed on my 335I...Waiting for the light to change green on a downward slope. Suddenly the oil light comes on stating that I need to add a quart..Ok...And then my temp gauge drops from 220 to 120...Drove home no problem. Shut off the car. Turned back on and everything is back to normal. The oil sensor has happened to me before when I wait for more than two minutes on a downward slope but the temp gauge is a first. What so you guys think? Go to the dealer to have it checked or not.

Thanks

I figured the temp gauge question. When the oil sensor read that the oil was to low it most likely dropped the temp also...This car is sensitive
