30FE Boost Pressure Too High----> Limp mode

I have downpipes and dci, no tune yet. At wot it goes to limp mode usually after 6000 rpm when shifting from 2 gear to 3rd. Should i install a tune in order to get correct boost? I was searching some people were getting same codes without jb3, and no codes after putting their jb3 back. ANY IDEA?

yeah get a tune. Jb3 is old.

Why would you have downpipes but no tune yet?? Seems kinda backwards.

of course im going to get cobb or jb4, i was giving example of someone who had limp mode and was getting high boost pressure without his jb3 which is confusing lol, btw i think i was you on kingshighway and coney island yesterday around 9pm, you have carbon fiber spoiler painted in alpine white?

I got this code at the end of all my sessions at the track this weekend. It happened with stage 2+ aggressive, sport, and drive. I'm FBO and was running 100 octane fuel. Any ideas what may have caused it?

could be sticky wastegate.

Thank you, I think that's exactly what it is. Would putting in new vanos solenoids help or are the turbos in need of repair/upgrade?

solenoids have nothing to do with it. I think is the actuator, try to oil it .

Mr.5 wrote some about this in a thread. Try to search it.
