Is any extra maintenance needed when adding different mods to a current tune?

I am currently running COBB stage 1+FMIC aggressive map. When I was using stage 1 aggressive I had a misfire and fixed it by changing a coil pack and all 6 spark plugs. Everything has been running fine. Since then, I now have AFE DCI, turner motorsports catback exhaust, HELIX FMIC, running stage 1+FMIC. Last night I ordered VRSF DPs. So when they get installed, Ill run the stage 2+FMIC aggressive. WHat Im wondering, is do I need to take any other maintenance precautions due to adding downpipes? Is there more of a chance of misfires or issues due to the install of DPs? I hear the positives of DPs such as allowing the turbos to run cooler. But are there downsides to DPs besides emissions issues?

If your plugs are new and your coils are working fine, you should be ready to rock.

I'd recommend increasing your maintenance frequency... change your oil every 6 months, change your plugs every 24,000 miles, intake valve cleaning at 50k miles

I have been wondering about my intake valves. Im currectly at around 36,800 miles. Should I just wait until 50k to get the valves done, or is there a way of knowin if they need it right now?

I'd probably wait another year... no reason to get it done now if you're not having problems. If it aint broke, don't fix it. But at 50k miles, you should do it as regular maintenance.
