Dimisa 3.5 or Cyba 3.0? 328 with PE tips.
Okay, I did a search but could NOT come up with an answer.
I messaged derek @ cyba and he said they only have the 3.0 double layer black chrome available at the moment for the single side dual exhausts. I messaged JP @ dimisa and he said that he has 3.0, BUT the 3.5 MAY fit with some modification. I have a Performance Exhaust on my e90 328, but I want to change those tips... should I take a chance with the 3.5? Or play it safe and go with the 3.0? Are they pretty large? Lol... I just don't want them to be the size of my oem tips from my old stock exhaust. I didn't like those. Because I want to fill that gap as much as possible. What "modifications" will I need to do to make the 3.5 fit? Thanks! |

I am wondering the exact same thing as i am in the market to buy 3.5" DiMisa Tips. My current MAgnaflow tips are 3.5" and they fit super flush (just barely) into the 328 cutout but for some reason DiMisa also told me i may need to modify my cutout to make thier 3.5" tips fit. Im gonna talk to a shop about it in the next couple weeks. PM me and maybe we can stay in contact.

I have DiMisa 3.5" tips but the shop made a y-pipe for me. I know you can't fit them on a PE for sure not sure about any other mufflers but they do sit flush..

Holy Hell those looked bigger than I thought. Well I abandoned my plans to fit 3.5s. I don't feel the need to go through the hassle of getting my PE tips cut and then getting Y-Pipe to fit the tips. Lol. Too much for so little of a change.

DiMisa also made 3.0" tips specifically so you can put them on the PE. A couple forum members did it. I would've done it if I had the PE.

3" on M3 rep rear is perfect fitting. Very tight, but that's what she likes!
3.5" would be too beaucoup. You would have to either spit in it; or cut your bumper. And if its not black, a cut out bumper looks like crap. Edit: Damn I just saw that you received your 3.5 already.

So how big are the standard tips that come with the PE? I just ordered my PE today, and from pictures and videos the stock tips that come with the PE's look to be a bit larger than the stock tips that come with the car.

Just went into my garage and grabbed a quick measurement. PE tips are a hair under 3".
