My dad drove my car the other day and he loved the feel of the engine so much that he is looking around at 535's. He had three e39 5 series cars. Two 540's and one m5 (still the best bmw ever imho). He's been driving a 3.0 x5 around for a while now (tows a boat well), but he's looking to get back in a driver's car. I drove the 535 and it feels great. Hard to justify the 9000 dollar premium of the 550.
