Today I had to take a detour to my son's school. This meant mostly highway driving in heavy traffic. Let me just say that my 335i was up to the task. a brief switch into sport mode with use of my paddle shifters and my car sliced and diced through traffic effortlessly. It almost seems like people are daydreaming traveling 3 and 4 wide on the freeway. The BMW is obviously not meant for these people. Needless to say I got there on time. Please note that I was always aware of my surroundings and never drove recklessly, although Im sure someone will flame.

Anyhow, I know I blew through a few gallons of gas so I proceeded to go back home in Eco Pro in local stop and go traffic where I was able to reclaim between 1-2 mpg.

I love this car.

Nice. I must say, the part where you dropped into Sport + Paddles is what really captured my imagination () but it's cool that you can get the best of both worlds out of this car!

Yes! All the gas you save... you can just eat them right up haha. And I consider that just a "bonus" compared to the driving qualities of this car (PRECISE steering, low-end torque, body tightness, FUN-TO-DRIVE).

This car is awesome!
