I thought I'd create a new thread as I wasn't able to change the title on the other one. (Mod, please feel free to delete the other thread.)

I am selling my almost-new ACT 6 puck clutch kit. I had it on my car for roughly 35 miles (probably about 10 times of pushing the clutch). However, I didn't get a new flywheel or machine the flywheel, so my car vibrated because of it. I recently sent the clutch to ACT for inspections to make sure that the clutch is still useable. They said there was nothing wrong with the clutch. (I asked them to send me a statement stating so.)

However, I already bought a stock clutch. Therefore, this ACT clutch kit is for sale. I am only asking for $250 shipped (OBO) (edited on 05/03/2012) to anywhere in the US for this practically new clutch (I paid $440). At this price, I think you're getting a GOOD deal. If you think otherwise, please shoot me a reasonable offer. I will entertain all offers!

$300 shipped???? This is a steal! You can use the pressure plate if you don't want the 6 puck disk. If you want to buy it for less than $300, just shoot me an offer!

I will post pics tomorrow. It is in very good condition (only 35 miles on it). I can also scan the letter from ACT stating that it is in good condition.

I have no use for the disk Just shoot me an offer for both (you can then do whatever you want with the disk. Good frisbee for your "friend" to catch.) I will entertain all offers!

Yes, I believe it should fit all N54 engines.

Thanks for the emails alfred- this doesn't work for the xdrive bmw's according to ACT.

I called ACT. I was told that they think it should fit. They have yet to come out for the XI.

I called my local dealer. I was told the same--they think it should fit even though the part numbers are 1 digit off.

ACT Has 6 puck clutches out for the xi already, just FYI, this should fit.

I've had a lot of people backed out because of the disk...I guess if you don't want the disk, you can always buy a new disk from ACT for cheap ($220 from their website, but you can get a vendor on here to sell one for cheaper probably).

With that said, I can sell you the pressure plate only (I will still include the 6 puck disk) for $250?????
