No Nappa leather for the US
I guess it isn't anything new but with 1.5 million variations on the F30 I cannot get nappa leather? It seems people in other countries have this option, maybe even extended nappa? I saw a pic with a beautiful cinnamon color on the seats and lower dash.
Just frustrated as I have had Nappa in my E46M3, and now extended Nappa in my M Roadster and MUCH prefer the quality, softness and feel compared to Dakota. Does anyone know if it is possible in the US through the individual program? |

Merino is avail but not nappa.
Here is the brochure for the F30 Individual. (It's at the bottom right side of menu, PDF file) http://www.bmw.com/com/en/newvehicle...roduction.html One thing about BMW that with money you can get just about anything, so if you got the cash you can get the car EXACTLY how you want it. It may not be through BMW individual but it would be a special order car. Many dealerships avoid this so it would be a little hard to find one willing to work with you. Believe me I have gone through hurdles finding dealerships that even know what BMW individual was. I wanted to have the first and perhaps only F30 sedan with M sport in Champagne Quartz Metallic paint, I think it would look absolutely jaw dropping. But since then I think I'am going to pass as I'am already pushing my budget with the M Sport setup on the 335i. My CA told me that BMW would not accept BMW Individual orders until they release the M sport and get the first batch of cars out the way. The Quoted cost for special paint on the 335i was around $4500 extra (I believe it's worth it just out of my budget) and the interior will not be too far off from that price, perhaps around $3000 extra. |

I have a feeling that you'll see Nappa available when the actual M3/M4 is released, but not until then.

Guys thanks for the info. I agree that on the M car you will see an smooth leather like Nappa or Novilo.
I know on the 5-series they offer Nappa as an upgrade over Merino, I guess it is not easily possible on a F30. |

I have the Napa leather in my M3 and it is nice. The only thing is that the seat bolster is developing slight cracks. I was thinking about ordering the 335i with the leatherette and paddle shifters. The 335i comes with many of the standard features that I would have to pay for in the 328i. I am just going to give up the M sport package for the higher performance engine of the 335i.
