z4M Vs 335

I currently have a 08 335 e90 with 64000 km on it

the car has premium package and sport package

I have a chance to trade it for a 07 Z4M coupe with premium package and 55000 km

What do you guys think? Both cars are CPO. z4 has cpo until the middle 2013

As good as the N54 is, IMO the S54 engine is the best BMW ever built, if it was me I would take the Z4M in a heartbeat.

I have always loved the m coupe and they are pretty rare. This car was owned by the salesman at the dealership who sold me my 335. Always serviced at his dealership

If the numbers work out I think i may jump on it

z4m is pretty rare compared to the 3 series, and it'll get you all the ladies considering it's shaped like a penis.
z4m is on the list of cars that i have to own before i die.

z4m is a much better drivers car. and s54 engine is great

335 is great for mpg, comfort, and obviously space, its also more luxury

if you care even the tiniest bit about practicality, dont get the z4m.
otherwise, get it. my friend had one and it was a fucking blast to drive.

Two very different cars, depends on your needs. Z4M will be a whole lot more exciting, but not quite as practical as as e90.

M>335. However, older M, cost of repair and ongoing maintenance, and the particulars, Z v. E92, in my case I'd keep the 335. M3 v. 335, please! That has an obvious answer.

I came from 335 to s2000 which I assume is smaller then Z4M....and so far I am doing just fine in terms of practicality. Currently have tools, 2 PCs with keyboards etc, and 2 21 inch monitors with stands, there is still a lot of space in trunk. some times I even carry a small ladder in trunk of my s2k. But of course I cant fit 4 18 inch wheels w/ tires in the back anymore like I did in 335 :-)

I also went skiing for 3 days in my S....food,boots, and all bags were in trunk and skies fitted fine on front seat

My wife owns an M Coupe and I own a 2011 335is. The 335is is more refined, has more bells n whistles, has more torque, less horses by 15, and I would say could edge the M Coupe by a hair in a 0-60 or possibly even a 1-4 mile. As far as handling, the M Coupe by far has the advantage over my IS. The M Coupe is probably one of the best handling cars BMW has ever made. I think there are less than 2500 in the US... Don't quote me in that... You may have to replace the engine/transmission mounts with aftermarket because of the 1st to 2nd shift that is touchy. Other than that, the M Coupe is a great car. You will love it. Best of luck.

...and '07 S54B32? Is this even a question? That is an incredible motor and would be a blast to drive in the Z4!

Post pics when you get the Z.

I would take the M as well, but the only thing is... The interior it built like crap. I sat in one and literally couldn't believe what it was made out of.

If you want it for the engine, buy the previous e46 M3.

Z4's are by far the ugliest cars ever created as were the Z3's before them. No thanks, I'll take the s2k any day. Now the old M coupes, WOW.

Do you have a daily driver in addition to the 335i? If so, I would do it in a heartbeat...assuming you have been driving your 3 since 2008...always nice to have something new and different. You may also come out ahead in 2-3 years in terms of depreciation.

If you don't have another car for a daily, then I would keep the 335.

Z3s are ugly, Z4s vert are so so, but Z4M Coupes are nice. Also Zs are made in USA I think and have rough suspension. Cyaman S are around the same price range as Z4M....
