FS 2009 Heated Steering wheel with SSG Paddles

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
I have a 2009 Steering wheel with the SSG paddles, wheel is heated and has shift paddles. Will fit any 2006-2011 3-series sedans, 2007 and up 3-series coupes and converts and all 1-series.
If you have an auto without paddle shifters you can add this wheel and get the paddles working.

$325 shipped anywhere in Canada or the US

i'm pretty sure it will only work for cars "prewired" for heated steering wheel. there should be a button on your steering rack plastic cover; a little button on the right side that illuminates when depressed.

I think it would be pretty easy to make it work, it just needs the power source. I could look at installing a small switch on the back of the wheel as a bypass switch to turn on the heater. This way the heater will only work when the car is running.

gaifun is spot on. its not an "easy" install. youll need to tap into a power source, get a switch assembly, and find a way to mount it. worth it though..

Power source and use a relay to control it when the drivers side seat warmer is used; provided you have heated seats would be ideal.
