Clicking sound after turning car off

Was just wondering after a drive and i switch the car off it makes a clicking noise at the front of the car for about 5mins. Really starting to bug me now as i dont know what it is.

Anyone elses car do this?

Mines too, its like if something is shutting off or closing. Idk.

Are you sure it's not just the heat escaping? Like most radiators do when switched off and on. Metal changes size a bit due to temperature.

If I've driven hard then the exhaust ticks loudly whilst cooling down.

This happens to mine, I get a clicking noise from middle of the car after coming back from a long drive

It's normal. My 320 clicks and whirrs for ages after it's switched off.
