Yeah, loads of people have used them, it just changes the mapping of your gas pedal.

It makes it come on quicker, so 25% down is 50% gas.

Same as the M button on an E46 M3, makes the car feel sharper, but can be annoying when you are cruising.

Ahhh makes sense. Thanks. I thought it might not be able to take out the lag by magic.

Question is now is it worth it? probbably is if it gives the feeling of less lag?

A properly adjusted 335i has no lag.
Your car has a problem - this is not the fix.
