Can any e90 use the snap in phone adaptor?

Want to get a snap in iPhone adaptor ,but will it work?

Mine ca r just seem to have a plastic base cover and under it just plastic holes with some wires showing . Is that mean it won't work?

If you have Bluetooth your arm rest will take a snap in adapter. Just remove the plastic cover that protects the connections and clip it in. Be sure the firmware in you car is OK to give full functionality to you phone first.

don have bluetooth in the car, i guess i need the base of the cradle as well then
