Question Help Me Decide What Color To Paint My Rims >.<

I'm debating between:
glossy black
matte black
glossy gunmetal
matte gunmetal

I'm having a really hard time deciding.

That's not my car, but mine is the same color.

As your car is now, stock, I'd leave them alone.

I bought my 335i used. Its alpine white but the stock 18s were painted black by the previous owner. I like the black rims on white car, but not with the stock rims. Id say keep the stock rims stock. If your looking for different color rims, get aftermarket rims. I am waiting on a set of 19 inch iconz 960s with gloss black centers and chrome lips. It reminds me of when I had my alpine white e46 M3. I miss that car. Ill attach some pics of the e46 for everyone to check out. Wish I still had it.....

Not trying to hijack your thread by the way. I apologize. Just letting you know my opinion of wheels that would look good on your car.

I have the same color and I've thought about this a lot, the consensus opinion is don't paint them.....it just doesn't look good with a stock car, get blacked out grills and shadowline trim and then think about painting the rims. If you're absolutely set on painting them right now do matte gunmetal - it blends the best with our color.

As the others have said... I wouldn't do wheels right now... get some other cosmetic things done first, or I think they are just going to stick out. Get rid of the amber on the headlights, then get either matte black or gloss black grills, along with a matching shadowline, and it will help to pull the rims off.

Gloss black looks cheap. Too matte looks steel wheel. Gunmetal would look nice with your car.

Dark rims will look like dirty rims. The cuts/shape/aerodynamics of the rim will not pop out so well when dark. May look kinda like a old steel rim that lost it's hub caps? I like it stock as well. I too wanted to change the color scheme of the rims, but going darker will take away from the entire car, just my opinion anyway

If you are going to color on your OE wheels, go the PC route instead of rattle can.

It's a 328. Leave them alone.

If you must, go with silver or gunmetal.

Also, powdercoat. Do not paint.

Okay, I'm going to buy VMR V710 - Gunmetal
I guess it'll be worth the money.
Thanks for the input.
