Good riddance to RunFlats!

I replaced the worn Runflats on my 2008 335i with Continental ExtremeContact DW tires. WHAT A TRANSFORMATION! Fantastically better ride, great handling, much quieter, none of the washboard effect of the RunFlats, AND MUCH CHEAPER!

For less than $20, I purchased a Slime-Smart Spair- Emergency Flat Tire Repair at Walmart, which I store in the trunk in my $19.99 new trunk organizer - see separate post. High Road Trunk Organizer Compact from www.buy.com.

Highly recommended to all E90 users!

Yup, recently did the same thing. Went from the OEM runflats to some Michelin PSSs and there was a huge difference, especially in noise and comfort. Pretty darn grippy tires too

Just got the same done to my car and got Continental ExtremeContact DW's as well switching from RunFlats today. Feels Great!

Too bad..My tire/wheel insurance wanted me to put same RFTs to continue with contract!! Sigh

I didn't want to spend 1k on tires now

going to be doing this soon as well...Continental ExtremeContact DW tires are good to go with or is there a better option?

The Continental Extreme Contact DW is a great summer performance tire at a good price. The next step up would be something like the Michelin Pilot Super Sport.
