KW Variant 3

I am looking into buying the KW V3 coilovers for my E90 335xi. How long does it take to install these and how hard is it to adjust the height afterwards? Where I live there is snow 6 months out of the year, so in the summer I want to lower the car and in the winter I want to raise it up. Any advice would help

Installation depends on who's doing it - a competent shop should be able to do it in about 2-3 hours. I had mine done by one guy in a little over 3 hours. He knew exactly what he was doing though. Height adjustment is easy. Just take off your wheels and there's a tool that KW includes that allows you to adjust.

I play the low in the summer and "high" in the winter game with my DD. Adjusting the height takes me about 10 minutes a side now that I have a little practice. Install time on the other hand took us about a full day, but we had several brakes for "beverages", food, general shenanigans.

Even with rebound adjustments only the Koni xi coilovers will have better performance through the use of higher quality true coilover springs, thrust sheets and careful selection of spring rates to suit individual needs. Not to mention better damping from Koni struts and shocks.

Any coilover system should take no longer than 2 1/2 to 3 hours to install on the car. You can check out the Installation instructions for the KW V3 XI which will answer all your install questions!
