Bridgestone Turanza 225/45/17 RFT (Set of 4), about 70% tread left...

My neighbor wants to let them go for $180 (this is my price only, so he says)

Is this a good deal?

I currently have them on my coupe... There's about 35% tread left, should I go for it?

I've had a set of Turanza's before and they were great! at 70% left, I think it's quite fair. I'd try to get him to do $150.

I forgot to mention that they are the EL42 Turanza's, if that makes a difference and for some reason are retailing for about $250 per tire!!

Are those the ones that BMW recalled? There was definitely a TSB on those Turanzas, and what kind of car are we talking about? That size doesn't fit a ZSP.

Turanzas......i wouldn't take em even if you paid me, unless its a lease return or something

your neighbor is smart to get rid of them

As a backup set, its not a terrible price... but +1 at trying to get them for $150. Show up with 3 $50 bills and he'll let them go I bet.

The EL42 is not highly rated but that price is crazy low.
