Question Regarding Canadian e90 323i pre lci

I have a 2008 323i e90 pre lci, can anyone confirm that it has a three stage air intake manifold system ?

I read around and there have been people saying it has 1,2 or 3 stages. Is there a tune that can bring the engine to the 325i specs ?

check dimsums thread. It has a 3 stage. Only standard tunes available. AA seems to be the one making breakthroughs here and there with the tunes.

Is your car AT or MT? What color?

I have an AT sparkling graphite

Reason why I'm asking is there seems to be a lag when I press on the throttle for the 323i. I heard BMS Powerbox will remap the throttle but I'm looking for some realistic gains.

I searched around and most of the performances parts only quote to work for 328 or 335 as 323 isn't as common.

anything for the 328 will work for 323 for the most part. 335 is a completely different engine with turbo's. Lag is normal. If you are having other problems in conjunction it may be something else. I had a rough idle and lag. It was the fuel pressure regulator. Helped out a bit replacing that. Go with a proper tune if you have the money.
