Regarding Canadian e90 323i pre lci
I have a 2008 323i e90 pre lci, can anyone confirm that it has a three stage air intake manifold system ?
I read around and there have been people saying it has 1,2 or 3 stages. Is there a tune that can bring the engine to the 325i specs ? |

check dimsums thread. It has a 3 stage. Only standard tunes available. AA seems to be the one making breakthroughs here and there with the tunes.
Is your car AT or MT? What color? |

Reason why I'm asking is there seems to be a lag when I press on the throttle for the 323i. I heard BMS Powerbox will remap the throttle but I'm looking for some realistic gains. I searched around and most of the performances parts only quote to work for 328 or 335 as 323 isn't as common. |

anything for the 328 will work for 323 for the most part. 335 is a completely different engine with turbo's. Lag is normal. If you are having other problems in conjunction it may be something else. I had a rough idle and lag. It was the fuel pressure regulator. Helped out a bit replacing that. Go with a proper tune if you have the money.
