What percent is too high?
I plan to install 225/45/18 instead of 225/40/18. Yeah the F30 has that new 18" tires ratio now. The overall diameter is affected by 3.4%.
My 17" winter wheels also have a 225/45 profile and they ride much better. I never had a 17" wheel bent but had to repair 3 18" in 4 years (2 different 18" tire models)! I wonder if any E9X owner did that change before? |
