Conti ExtremeContact DW Tread Warranty

Just got Conti DW's put on my Fiance's 128. After the purchase they mentioned I had a 50,000 mile treadlife warranty. I thought that they were certainly mistaken till I looked it up:

Is this right? There's no way any performance tire can break anything beyond 35k even with tire rotation.

Theres a HUGE difference between the DWS, and the DW.

The warranty is listed for the DWS, which is their all season tire. Their DW summer tire is not covered.

I also believe staggered applications which can't have rotations are excluded.

depending on how/where you drive, I think you can break 35k. I live in Florida and put 42k on my Sumitomo HTRZ IIIs, and they were not quite to their wear marks before I switched to Conti DWs (which have a higher treadwear rating than the HTRZ IIIs).
Your mileage may be less; I have s 20mi each way commute on a nice smooth road and do spirited driving only when the coast is clear

Good luck getting even close to 35k on the rears. Mine are down almost to the wear bars in the back after approx 15k miles. They are wearing perfectly even, so I don't believe it is an alignment issue. The fronts still have around 40-50% tread though.

@mlifxs - How do the Continental tires compare to the Sumitomos?
